Why should I attend Group Classes?

 

Group classes teach your dog manners, basic obedience and how to socialise with other dogs and people, while you learn how to handle your dog in different environments.  Proper training of your dog builds a rewarding, lifelong friendship.

 

Crazy K9s Group Classes are fun and informative workshops designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to train your dog to become a confident, happy and well behaved companion.  Owners meet with other owners and learn from their shared experiences with training conducted in a professional, yet relaxed manner that will not intimidate or single anyone out.

 

Mental and Physical Stimulation through training can prevent Behavioural issues:

• Destructive behaviours - Chewing, Digging, Escaping.
• Dominance - over family members (especially children); Hyperactivity and Ignorance.
• Anxiety - Shyness, Fear, Neurotic behaviours.
• Aggression - Antisocial behaviours or being a dangerous menace.

 

Regardless of Age, Breed or Size all dogs need fair and consistent leadership & communication, mental & physical exercise and good health & nutrition. 

 

Crazy K9s know training should be fun for both you and your dog so our trainers will equip you with easy to follow training techniques based on Positive Reinforcement (reward based) and sound principles of Canine Learning.

 

Ultimately, training should be a fun experience for both you and your dog.

 

How do I get started?

 

You can enrol by completing the enrolment form online or contact Crazy K9s directly.

 

Your investment in one of Crazy K9s 4 week courses is only $140.00 with a percentage of the enrolment fee going towards the training of Assistance Dogs.

 

Classes are limited to 10 dogs and run for approximately 90 minutes, so there is plenty of time to ask questions and get one on one help with your trainer.

If your area is not listed, please forward an Expression of Interest and we will endeavour to establish a class in your area!

 

What to bring to Training

 

Your dog’s Vaccination Certificate. Your dog must also be current with all parasite treatments (flea, worming, etc).

Your dog must be on a lead with a flat collar preferred (no correction chains).

Training treats or toys – eg: liver treats, cheese, sausage or favourite ball.

Suitable footwear should be worn by all those participating in training (no thongs please).

Plenty of fresh drinking water, shade and Pooper Scoopers are provided by Crazy K9s for each class.

 

Booking & Payment

 

Class sizes are limited to ensure you receive the most from our trainers.  To ensure your spot in our Group Classes, payment is required when enrolling to secure your spot.  Payment can be made by cash, cheque, credit card, or direct deposit. All cancellations are fully refundable with 7 days notice.
